Inconsistencies of the VEPR & SAIGA Guide Rod/Recoil Assembly are a problem due to how it flexes and can jam your gun and not allow it to cycle easily.
The factory Russian recoil assembly can cause inconstant (FTE) Failure to Eject problems. The bind easily and many are bent.
This competition guide rod assembly corrects inconsistent spring stacking for a much smoother carrier travel during cycling.
Titanium replacement rod and plastic slider will prevent the binding experienced with the OEM assembly.
It will retrofit into the existing recoil system by simply removing the the factory pin that holds the rod in place and inserting the new performance rod and replace the factory pin.
Reuse the existing dust cover and springs. Changing to the CSS Performance Recoil Spring will improve cycling on lower power (3.0 dram) shells (sold separately).
Works on all Saiga 12, 20, 410 and Vepr 12 shotguns
