AK-2 hinge adapter is intended for installation on AK-100 type folding mechanism for AK type rifles with rear trunnion already installed. Adapter makes possible to use AR type telescopic tubes. AK-2 adapter shifts up an axis of a buttstock that allows for more control over the rifle and better compensation of fire recoil, on the average for 40-60% (depending on weapon caliber).
