The Low Drag Forward Assist (LDFA) from Forward Controls Design is the perfect upgrade to replace the standard forward assist found on standard A.R. upper receivers. The LDFA features an all angles dimpled plunger cap with a snag-free, rimless design purposely built for AR-15 and M-16 platforms with ambidextrous charging handles. This design removes the rim and reduces the overall footprint of the forward assist to accommodate ambi charging handles without impacting usability. This allows for more fluid movements and reduces the chances of snagging on a fingernail or knuckle.
