Safety detent is 3/8” shorter than a Saiga detent. It does line up in the same spot as my Hungarian FEG safety detent. Easy to use left or right handed. I put this on my Hungarian rifle and I am right handed. That’s how much I like this safety lever. Your good to go, left or right handed!
