Zenitco B-10U AK Handguard

B-10U handguard rail is a milled product made of D16T aluminum alloy coated in black or desert color. It is installed in the place of the regular handguard of AK-103, -104, -105, -74M, -74S, AKMS, AKM, Saiga-MK v.30, Saiga-MK v.33, Saiga-MK 223 Rem. v.03, TG2, Vepr-K, Vepr-KM, VPO-209, AK-366-Lancaster.
B-10U handguard rail forms a Picatinny rail on the bottom and two Basis rails on sides. Also it forms one additional Basis rail in the rear part on the bottom. Basis rail allows to install additional accessories directly on handguard, in particular: B-2, B-2L, B-2M, B-2U Picatinny rails; A-1L, A-2L slingmounts; RL-1 hand stoppers; NPN-2 Basis rail covers; FP-3 wire holders; tactical switches from "D" line. It is possible to install B-19 or B-19N upper handguards; B-33 dust cover; B-22 rear sight rail. It is possible to install RK-0, RK-1, RK-2, RK-4, RK-5, RK-6 grips, as well as tactical flashlights, laser pointers, bipods on Picatinny rail. Additional rear Basis on the bottom is especially convenient in combination with RL-1 hand stopper.

while installing a tactical flashlight or laser pointer on the B-10U handguard, the regular Dovetail joint of the weapon located on the receiver remains free to install optical sighting devices and accessories.

M5х7 screws will be needed in case of installation of B-19, B-19N, B-22, B-33 rails. Do not use screws from the kits of those rails (M5x9) with B-10U! M5x9 screws are made for B-10M handguard, not for B-10U.

To install B-10U handguard rail on a weapon, you need to:
1. Make an incomplete disassembly of the weapon and remove the regular handguard.
2. Install the "B-10U handguard" instead of the regular handguard. B-10U should be installed very rigidly, for that it is necessary to:
- install the regular handguard retailer on B-10U;
- attach B-10U to the receiver;
- place a wooden or metal spacer on handguard retainer, hammer in B-10U rail into the receiver of the weapon;
- close the lever on handguard retainer.
3. Assemble the rifle.

Attention! Do not file the handguard during installation. This can lead to the formation of a backlash at the junction of the handguard with the receiver.

The hardness of the handguard landing determines the hardness of the landing of the sights, which affects the accuracy of the shot.
