Built for duty, our HK 45 +3 is the big brother to our HK VP9/P30 "Border Special."
Designed at the behest of law enforcement, the Border Special line provides maximum security, strength, and durability on the HK magazine -- and works with the stock spring. Use our HKVP9/40 spring as a replacement when your springs start to wear out.
Mark III version: Built specifically for the HK 45, and no longer works on the HK USP 45 compact. We closed the small (but unsightly) gap between the top of the magazine and the bottom of the frame (needed for the HK USP 45 compact), while retaining the extra length added in the 2.0 model. That extra length made loading the full +3 easier, but still kept the overall size reasonable for a duty gun.
Together, the upgrades make this part flashier, and easier to use.

Overall length assembled is approximately 150mm (145mm measured down the back) -- slightly too long for use in USPSA "Limited" competition.
