When we decided to do a basepad for the AK, we asked around about what mags we should work with. Competitive AK shooters gave us two answers, the P-Mag (because everyone has a P-Mag) and the XTech Mag 47. The PMag sets a high standard, but in our opinion, the XTech is stronger and stiffer -- ideal for a coupler system like ours. 

Our patented T-Mag system offers multiple features generally not found on AK basepads. You'll find some of these features on AR-15 parts, but our T-Mag is the only one to bring them all into one package (hence it's patented).
