The steel buffer housing holds two Tungsten weights for a weight of 4.6 ounces. A resilient NBR rubber buffer pad on the buffer housing is designed to absorb the impact of the 9mm direct blowback system. Included is a flat wire spring designed specifically for the SI PDW system buffer and most pistol-length buffer tubes for a simple and easy set-up. The spring's flat design enhances bolt power over traditional round wire springs by storing a larger amount of energy in a smaller space.
