The Picatinny Base is precision machined from 6061 T6 billet aluminum. We recognize that rifle weight is not an issue when we are at the range. However, when you are deep in the backcountry ounces begin to add up. This is why we work towards keeping the Outeimpact Base – lightweight and low profile.
