M-Carbo SCCY Trigger Spring Kit

Thanks so very much for selling me the “M CARBO CPX-3/4 Trigger Spring Kit.” Once I installed the first, I immediately ordered another, which I received today. I was so lucky to find this, so very much needed upgrade, along with the “M CARBO Flat Trigger Kit” which I also simultaneously installed on my standard SCCY CPX-3. My trigger went from an average of 8 Lb. and .9 oz., before installation, to a fabulous 4 lb. and .08 oz. Yes, no type “O”, 4lbs and .08oz! This figure comes from the original 3 element (trigger pull) data set, two 5 element data sets, and two ten pull data sets, in that order. NONE WERE MORE THAN A .4 OZ. AVERAGE PER SET VARIANCE AND THOSE WERE, I FEEL OUTLIERS DUE TO MY DEVELOPING TECHNIQUE, NEVER HAVING USED MY PRIEDFEND TRIGGER GAUGE, THAT I PURCHASED OVER TWO YEARS AGO. FOR ME, IT WAS BEST TO TURN THE PISTOL UPSIDE DOWN, SETTING ON THE SIGHTS, MUZZEL POINTING AWAY, AND PULL THE “TRIGGER GAUGE” SLOWLY TOWARDS MYSELF (STOMACH). THIS TECHNIQUE WORKS WELL AND IS QUICKLY LEARNED , ONCE YOU GET THE FEEL OF THE SEAR BREAK! THE LAST TWO TEN ELEMENT DATA SETS AVERAGED 4LB .07 OZ and 4LB .08 OZ. , TWO TEN ELEMENT SETS THAT AVERAGED .01 OZ DIFFERENCE! I took my time with the two kit installation conversion, watching two different videos and developing my own method and technique procedure which I carefully recorded. I strongly suggest using a toothpick to hold the extractor in-place while tapping-in the retaining split pin, with a 3/32’ drift! This was my only concern, until I test fired it today, the pistol with both upgrades functioned beautifully, and so smooth, like a silk glove to shoot!. My Average group at ten yards was almost 14” before the MCARBO Conversions. Today, after 45 rounds of Winchester Hardball fired , my last two five round groups at 10 YD’S were both within a 4 INCH DIAMETER PATTERN! Right now, I am about to use my new and upgraded “SPORGAIN SIGHT PUSHER TOOL” to move “my” impact left 4 inches at 10 yards, now that I have the confidence in my ability and equipment to zero effectively. I have absolute confidence in this pistol for concealed carry safety! Note: I had two rounds misfire out of 55 fired on this first “NEW PISTOL” firing, but a quick second pull of the “DOUBLE ACTION ONLY TRIGGER” (THE SAFEST OF ALL TRIGGERS) AND “BANG.” Right now, this fine, small, light and “MEAN” little “BULLDOG” will match-up against anything on the market, along with its startling accuracy to prove it! I believe only a Walther PPK/S could and would beat it for accuracy, using only single action shots, but not by much!
