The Savage AXIS Stock Stabilizer Kit will ONLY fit in Savage AXIS 1 models that came with the "ORIGINAL CHEAP VERSION" STOCK which has this specific forend structure as shown below:

This Kit WILL NOT FIT in Savage AXIS 1 models that now come with the "NEW ERGO STOCK" which has an "X" pattern forend structure as shown below:
