Why do we recommend this red dot? There are a lot of reasons for that:

First, it is BRIGHT! I switched to HS507 when it first become available, but V2 is even brighter! So you can see it even during summer time in Florida.

Second, the Circle Dot Mode. It was a nightmare for me when I first gor a carry optics Glock with a red dot on it and tried to shoot a USPSA classifier match! I started facing uprange, and when I turned to the targets drawing the gun I just couldn't find that dot! And I am sure I am not the only one who had this problem. When you first switch to Carry Optics, the sight is higher, so you have to change your grip, and that is not very easy. But the Circle dot really helps.  It is just so much easier to find the circle! But not only it is easier to find it, it is also much easier to shoot especially on a short distance, because instead of aiming with the dot you are aiming with a huge 32 MOA circle!

Third, HS507C-V2 automatically switches between the battery power and Solar Battery, so most of the times you don't spend the battery at all. But even when you do, it last up to 50,000 hours using CR1632 battery with easy side access

Holosun 507C comes with detachable Picatinny Rail mount, so it can be mounted to any standard rail as well as to any RMR style mount.
