Unlike other add-on ambi controls, the EMR-A was designed from the ground up to function perfectly with Mil-Spec AR-15 lower receivers without any permanent modification needed. This ambi mag release directly mirrors the right side magazine release improving ergonomics and even features their multi-faceted control surface (MCS) that follows the contours of your finger for a more tactile feel. The magazine button itself is also low profile to not interfere with the bolt catch and comes with an extra power spring to prevent accidental activation. This model features the standard magazine button length but there is an extended lever available. The magazine buttons are made from 7075-T6 aluminum while the catch is made from 4140 stainless steel and is shorter than a standard mag catch shaft.
