This stock kit comes with everything you need to attach it to your lower receiver including the recoil spring and buffer weight. The 6061-T6 aluminum buffer tube features 6 positions that lets you set a predetermined length of pull with the P3 indexing screw. This allows you to pull straight back on the stock and extend it to your preferred length every time with no locking tabs to potentially bind. If you are building a compact PDW style AR, this stock kit is a step in the right direction.
