The Atlas BT-10 version 8 standard height bipod is the latest fine tuning of the original Atlas Bipod. These heavy duty, purpose-built bipods are machined out of 6061-T6 aluminum with properly heat treated stainless steel components. The aluminum components are treated with a MIL-SPEC Type III hardcoat anodized finish for durability and elemental protection. Unsurprisingly, this tough bipod was adopted by the military for SOCOM's MK14 MOD 2 program. The legs can also be adjusted entirely independently, with heights available in 3/4" increments allowing the shooter to have a solid and level shooting position on the roughest of terrain. The standard feet are soft yet durable rubber feet suitable for a variety of surfaces but can be easily replaced with the push of a ball detent to any Atlas-compatible feet or extensions necessary. Tracking targets and keeping level is a breeze thanks to the 15-degrees +/- of cant and pan in either direction.
